Million Women Rise The Glass Bar is organising a fund raiser for Million Women Rise/ International Women's Day. Million Women Rise helps promote International Women's Day and they also increase the awareness of the continuing inequalities that still exist in our world. The event is Thurs 5th March 09 upstairs at The Queens Head for a magnificent Cabaret Night with the wonderful comedian Claire Summerskill headlining, gorgeous Slam poet Sophia Blackwell compering, Mysti Vine a delicious, fantastic cabaret artist and many more!! Queens Head Doors open at 6.30pm. Show starts at 7.30pm sharp. Finishes at approx 9.45pm-10pm. Tickets £7. Brighton Pride Glass Bar is taking a Bus to Brighton Pride on Saturday 1st August 2009. We meet at 10am outside Friends House (Quaker building) 77, Euston Road opposite the old Glass Bar. Board a luxury Bus/Coach to Brighton Pride. Get to Brighton Pride have fun then when done leave Brighton at 11pm back to London. Travel in complete comfort.
